In the context of religion it could refer to heaven, the home of the righteous after death.
The word"paradise" is used in many languages, but its origins are found in Avestan, an ancient Iranian language. The word is pairidaeza, or "walled enclosure," from the roots pairi, "around," and daeza, "wall." It was later included in the Hebrew and other Aramaic texts as paradeisos, and later changed into Greek which later became paradise.
In the Bible The Bible describes paradise as the Garden of Eden, where the first couple lived in a beautiful environment that was free of diseases and death. They lost paradise, however, after they rebelled against God. In later Bible prophecies, heaven is seen as a place in the future of the eschatological, where a happy humanity will live for eternity. The word paradise is also used to describe the state of mind or spiritual that is full of joy and happiness.
A place to Play
